- Tissue biopsy - Properly labeled paraffin block (surgical specimens fixed in buffered formalin and paraffin-embedded (FFPE - formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded), always accompanied by the pathology report for the specimen(s) to be studied and a serial section stained with hematoxylin and eosin). Requires informed consent / solid tumor form.
